ISPO 2014 has sadly come to an end and the Whitelines team are back behind their desks. Although still slightly hanging, the team are working hard to bring you guys a sneak peak of the best brands. So don't worry, through the hangover and Munich munchies, we haven't forgotten about you.
In fact, we managed to get some awesome snaps of next season's gear and now we are bringing you yet another preview. Here we have the Bataleon brand. Bataleon are well-known for their quality gear and their snowboards for next season are shaping up to be some of the best yet.
Check out next season's top Bataleon boards and a couple of steezy-looking jackets too!
[part title="Bataleon Airobic Snowboard 2014-15"]
First up we've got the Airobic Snowboard. Back again this season, this ultimate freestyle board looks like it will be great for hitting the rails and kickers.
And in terms of the graphics, who doesn't love a Triceratops, half naked woman and a raccoon?! Sometimes the more random the better...
[part title="Bataleon Asymmetric Evil Twin Snowboard 2014-15"]
The Asymmetric Evil Twin will go down very well next season with not too many over-powering graphics; a nice simple design. The shape is definitely an interesting one too. Check out our guide to asymmetric boards here.
Below is a close up of the interesting cut. Although these shapes don't necessarily make a difference to your riding, it does remind you you're riding an asymmetric board!
[part title="Bataleon Black Snowboard Jacket 2014-15"]
Bataleon outerwear is always one to be thankful for. It's never too expensive and always looks tidy on the slopes. This simple black jacket will go down a treat next season!
[part title="Bataleon Boss Snowboard 2014-15"]
As Andy Samberg would say: You'll be riding this board 'Like A Boss'. The Bataleon Boss freestyle board is back again this season and we aren't surprised.
It's one of few boards you can rely on nowadays to deliver across the whole mountain but truly exceed in the park. You'll be hitting the park with such style, you should ask the Boss for a pay rise...
[part title="Bataleon Camel Toe Bill Stuart Snowboard 2014-15"]
Talk about a makeover?! These Bill Stewart boards are looking sweet. The 80s 'snurfer' stylistics combined with a modern powder set up can only mean one thing surely. Bill's board will be one hell of a ride for next season.
And check out the tail on that! Perfect for powder-lovers. **Queue drooling**
[part title="Bataleon Camel Toe Snowboards 2014-15"]
The classic Camel Toe is back again and although we know you guys loved the limited edition graphics from 2013, we think the simple graphics on this board are just as rad! These boards use TBT which basically means the nose is that shape to help you float. Take a better look at the tail below.
[part title="Bataleon Crew Special Edition Snowboard 2014-15"]
This is a sweet looking ride for next year. The Crew Special Edition will be out next seasons and with those graphics we reckon they'll go down a treat.
[part title="Bataleon Disaster Snowboard 2014-15"]
This is one of Bataleon's best jibbing boards on the market and it's been revamped and will be on sale again next season.
This board will rip the parks, rails, street, walls and anything else rip-able, to absolute shreds. Don't worry about going too hard on this one, this baby can take a beating - so don't go easy with it! Go hard or please, just go home.
[part title="Bataleon Distortia Snowboard 2014-15"]
Here's the women's version of the disaster. Another park/freestyle board. This ones for the true shredding women out there prepared to tackle the entire mountain. Although we reckon this one will be better on the park, don't think this one will have you sinking in the powder titanic-style.
[part title="Bataleon Evil Twin 2014-15"]
Here's the (quite obviously) symmetric version of the Evil Twin board from earlier. The graphics on this one are impressive. They've managed to keep the weird 3D-looking skulls from last season but incorporated some more interesting graphics, plus not forgetting Bataleon's three-finger signature at the top of this one.
[part title="Bataleon Feelbetter Snowboard 2014-15"]
It's tie-dyed! We all love a bit of tie-dye 60s-style design. This will be perfect for women wanting to progress in the park next season. Bataleon have opted for the same shape again this year too, with more statement edges. It looks like it'll be a nice ride in the park on this one.
[part title="Bataleon Fun Kink Snowboard 2014-15"]
It's the Fun Kink! Back again, it seems they've gone for that messy graphics looks again and we love it! If it's anything like it has been in previous years, this will be an excellent popping machine! Below we have a picture of the base graphics as well.
But, what we want to know, is it a black board with white stripes or white with black stripes?! Who knows?!
Well, actually, Bataleon probably know...
[part title="Bataleon Global Warmer Snowboard 2014-15"]
This is a classic Bataleon board and a jib-machine for those rail junkies among us. Bataleon have again splashed the cash on this higher-end board using un-environmentally friendly construction (hence the name).
Although the board may have melted an ice cap (woops), it'll be stomping the snow out in the mountains like no other. The high quality of this one means its a popular board among the Bataleon team too.
So if it's anything like this season's version, it'll be super flexible but still give you enough control to nail a pop. Check out the photo below for the base graphic.
[part title="Bataleon Goliath Snowboard 2014-15"]
This board has got a massive range of talents and is probably one of Bataleon's best boards. It'll slice up the fresh pow, stomp the parks and satisfy the jib-jockeys. So if you're a bit confused over what style of riding you want to do next year, this is probably your perfect board.
And it's a good looking board too. Check out the base graphics below.
[part title="Bataleon Imagine Snowboard 2014-15"]
Simple and stylish. It may at first seem it's lacking in graphics but you'll just have to use your imagination with this one! This board is new this season and is perfect for riders who have too many stickers...
[part title="Bataleon Omni Snowboard 2014-15"]
The Bataleon Omni looks like it'll be a great all-mountain board too. Simple but sleek graphics on the top layer.
[part title="Bataleon Push Up Snowboard 2014-15"]
This is a personal favourite. There seems to be a 70s workout vibe going on on the base of the board and with those bright colours too, it looks like a rad board to hit the slopes on next winter. A pretty plain front, but the base is much louder - a good balance. This board will be an easy one to keep happy too lads to don't worry. It'll happily cruise through waist-deep pow, but will try equally as hard when it spots the features.
[part title="Bataleon Snowboard Jacket 2014-15"]
Bataleon seem to be heading down a more reserved route this season but we reckon that's probably a good thing. There's so much bright, quirky jackets out there, but sometimes, the simplest of jackets look the best. This black Bataleon piece looks damn classy and the yellow logo is a nice touch.
[part title="Bataleon Whatever Snowboard 2014-15"]
This board is good for whatever you want to ride, park, pow, or pistes. So take your pick. These graphics are pretty damn steezy too so you'll look rad as you carve your way down the mountain. We think it's an improvement on this season's in terms of graphics too.
