Team Whitelines is currently out at ISPO, the ginormagantuan trade show in Munich where brands come to showcase their wares, eat bratwurst and ogle the promo girls.
Burton occupy one of the bigger stalls, and have packed it to the rafters with fresh kit for next season - not least of which were the many snowboards, boots and bindings. Here are a few of the hardware highlights:

[part title="Burton Easy Livin Snowboard (Danny Davis Pro Model) 2014/2015"]
This is the board on which Danny Davis rode to victory in last night's X Games halfpipe finals. The Easy Livin has been around for a few years now, and the newest version is a collaboration with Martin & co, purveyors of high quality acoustic guitars.
[part title="Burton Custom Blend Snowboard 2014/2015"]
New for 2014/2015 is the hempy-looking Custom Blend. We're a fan of that graphic, and it's always good to see an extension of the ever-reliable Custom range.
[part title="Burton Shaun White Pro Model Snowboard 2014/2015"]
Shaun's gone all piratey for his latest pro model - arrrrrrrr you impressed?
[part title="Burton Fish Snowboard 2014/2015"]
The long-serving Fish is still Burton's flagship powder board. With that crazy tail it can stay afloat in the soft stuff, and while the topsheet's mainly classic black, that go-faster arrow design on the base is pretty sweet.
[part title="Burton Custom X Snowboard 2014/2015"]
The reputation of Burton's high-performance stick is as strong as ever, so look out for this if you want something that charges hard. Also pictured are the Diode EST binding and the SLX boot, both of which we'll take a closer look at later on.
[part title="Burton Landlord Snowboard 2014/2015"]
The Landlord's a relatively new model, introduced after Burton called time on the Malolo. It makes light work of the kind of all-mountain freestyle riding favoured by Terje Haakonsen.
[part title="Burton Landlord Split Snowboard 2014/2015"]
The Landlord is also available as a split board, and we were blown away by how easy it is to adjust the bindings. Watch the video to see what we mean!
[part title="Burton Backyard Project Snowboards 2014/2015"]
This collection of boards has been 'homebrewed' at Craig's, Burton's Research & Development facility in Vermont. Mega-limited edition with eye-catching graphics, these will no doubt be just as well-received as their 2013/14 equivalents.
[part title="Burton Genie Women's Snowboard 2014/2015"]
Burton's easy-going women's snowboard returns for another season, ensuring your riding can be magic even if, initially at least, you don't have much bottle.
[part title="Burton Lip-stick Women's Snowboard 2014/2015"]
It's the rockered all-rounder that, year after year, is one of the most popular women's boards. Combined with the Lexa binding (more of which later) and the Felix Boa boot, it's a setup that just about anyone could get on with.
[part title="Burton Feather Women's Snowboard 2014/2015"]
This is Burton's entry-level stick for the rider who wants something they can use while learning, but also as they progress. The Citizen and Mint are designed for the same purpose, so combining them is a good idea for any beginner.
[part title="Burton Social Women's Snowboard 2014/2015"]
This is a true twin freestyle stick for women who like the park, so it works well with the flex Stiletto binding. Stay tuned for a closer look at the Day Spa boot.
[part title="Burton Riglet Kid's Snowboard 2014/2015"]
As you can see from the video below, the Riglet has a retractable pull-string at the nose, allowing you to drag your nipper along the flat as he/she gets used to standing sideways. this one actually works fine on living-room carpet, so you can get the fundamentals down there before heading to the great outdoors.
[part title="Burton Diode EST Snowboard Binding 2014/2015"]
To paraphrase Nigel Tufnel, how much more black could the Diode be? The answer is... none. This one's designed for use by hard chargers like John Jackson.
[part title="Burton Malavita Snowboard Binding 2014/2015"]
Now with a striking orange colour scheme, the Malavita soldiers on as a top freestyle binding. The model shown features the Re:Flex base plate, but there's an EST version as well for boards that have the channel system.
[part title="Burton Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings"]
The Burton Cartel Binding is an all-time classic, stiff enough for big hits and more forgiving than some uber-solid high end offerings out there. This year's design is making us desperate for a can of Irn Bru.
[part title="Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings 2014/2015"]
Camo's clearly not going anywhere, with Burton slapping it onto their hugely popular mid-flex binding for 2014/2015. It's long been a favourite of many a pro rider, even ones who aren't on the Burton team.
[part title="Burton Lexa EST Women's Snowboard Binding 2014/2015"]
Towards the stiffer end of the Burton women's range, the Lexa is built to be thrashed. Having said that, it's still forgiving enough to play around on, if that's your preference.
[part title="Burton Escapade EST Women's Snowboard Binding 2013/2014"]
The Escapade is slightly softer than the Lexa, and also lighter. This has partly been achieved by taking material out of the base and replacing it with soft cushioning, making it extra comfy and manoeuvrable.
[part title="Burton Viking Snowboard Boot"]
The return of a classic! Our editor had a pair of these back in the 1997/98 season, and now they're back by Jake's special request. He's carried over a lot of the look that the previous version had, but updated the tech for today's rider.
[part title="Burton Fiend Snowboard Boot 2014/2015"]
This is a new release from the B. It's got a classic, understated look with traditional lacing, but still features plenty of bells and whistles. We expect this one to go down well once it's released.
[part title="Burton Ambush Snowboard Boot 2014/2015"]
A true mid-flex all-rounder, the Ambush is aimed at the rider who likes to do it all. Looks-wise, they've kept the design relatively similar to this year's combination of earthy and flouro.
[part title="Burton SLX Snowboard Boot 2014/2015"]
Relatively stiff it may be, the SLX has been built in order to handle things straight out of the box. Bursting with tech, this one belongs right at the top of Burton's range.
[part title="Burton Rover Snowboard Boot 2014/2015"]
Burton have once again teamed up with Italian shoesmiths Diemme to make the Rover. Much like last year, it's a full-grain leather beauty inspired my mountaineering boots - and it's as tough as nails.
[part title="Burton X Frye colab Women's Snowboard Boot 2014/2015"]
This one is a collaboration with Massachusetts-based shoe manufacturers Frye. It's got the look of a classic leather boot, with all of Burton's top tech as well. The Boa lacing system makes getting in and out a breeze.
[part title="Burton Day Spa Womens Snowboard Boot 2014/2015"]
One of the softer boots in Burton's range, the Day Spa is all about comfort. If you're looking for the feel of a skate shoe in your boot, this is the one to go for.
