Ride EX Binding 2014-2015 Review

The Details:

The Ride EX (not to be confused with the LX and the KX, elsewhere in the range) is one of the company’s best-selling bindings, thanks to its ability to deliver all-round performance at an affordable price.

This year it features the brand new Edge chassis made from 100% aluminium (reportedly of the same grade that you’ll find used in airplane construction) which offers increased durability while keeping the weight down. A few grams have also been shaved off the Comfort Flex highback, which is aimed at the rider who prefers a softer binding rather than a stiff-as-hell hard charger. As will all Ride bindings it features the ‘Wedgie’ canted footbed, designed to deliver extra comfort and pop, and the convertible rubber-web toe strap that can be worn either over the tip of the boot or right on the toe.
