Gnu Ladies Choice 2014-2015 Womens Snowboard Review

The Details:

As one of the earliest snowboard companies to emerge from the United States, Gnu has been trucking along in some shape or form for over thirty years – and what a boost it got last year when team riders Jamie Anderson and Kaitlyn Farrington brought Olympic golds back from Russia.

This is the former’s weapon of choice, and the 2015 version comes absolutely stacked with tech. Naturally it’s a twin, but there’s an asymmetrical element to it; the sidecut is deeper on the heel edge, as reflected in shape of the tip and tail. Combine that with wavy Magne-traction edges that provide extra grip on carves, and you’ve got a board that’s as much fun to turn as it is to send skywards.
