Deeluxe Yusaku 2014-2015 Snowboard Boot Review

The Details:

Here’s another new skate-inspired option, this time coming from Austrian-based boot specialists Deeluxe. As the name suggests, it’s the first pro model for team rider (and skate fanatic) Yusaku Horii, who has teamed up with Dazye and the 1817 crew to produce a boot that both looks and acts the business.

As pro boots go it’s pretty soft, with Deeluxe’s Easy Flex configuration making for a supremely comfy ride. It’s no slouch though; the sole is their new thinner ‘D-Lug’ with two impact zones that help to cushion harsh landings and reduce everyday chatter. Plus the lacing is a combination of speed-system, traditional lace and powerstrap that results in all-day support and easy adjustability. Thanks to a choice of three different liners, you’ve got a bit more say in how much cash you part with. The price listed above gets you the Performanceflex version with EVA and heel harness, but for some extra wedge you can upgrade to the heat-mouldable Thermoflex or Thermoflex Premium.
