Burton Easy Livin’ 2014-2015 Snowboard Review

The Details:

Danny Davis’ custom ride this year comes with a design created in collaboration with Martin Guitars – and the Burton Easy Livin’ is one that has certainly got heads a turnin’.

Available in three different shapes to fit with three different sizes – it’s an all mountain stick that’s already been proven worthy with Danny’s X Games win in early 2014.

All three options are packing Flying V profiles – with an overall rocker and raised camber points under the bindings. As well as Burton’s squeezebox technology which keeps them lightweight without reducing pop. Shape-wise you can choose between the blunted freestyle design of the 152, the pointed tip style of the 158 or the all-round versatility of the 155, which is a blend of the other two options.

The Review

“If I had to sum the Burton Easy Livin’ up in one word, it would be ‘lively’. It’s really got a snappy flex to it – and the nose and tail have got a serious amount of rebound. I did find that it bucked me off once or twice in crud – which took me by surprise. But when you harness that flex, it’s perfect for popping off lips, unleashing spins, and of course it does just look dope.” – Ed Blomfield
