We like Marko Grilc, a lot, but the thing about him we like the most is that he is always genuinely trying to do something different with snowboard.

Take Grilosodes: everyone and their dog has a web series these days, but how many of them have been to Dubai? Or Africa? Or Halifax even?

Who else would stay up all night to get one shot? Whilst using mirrors at that. Yup, Grilc is our boy.

If you have any interest in snowboard photography you should check it out, it shows how much more there is to it than simply pressing a shutter, especially with the extra challenges that come about whilst shooting in negative temperatures.

It also shows how much time get’s binned on a shoot like this, learning as you go until you end up with the finished article.

In this case, totally worth it. It’s not every day that you get to see shots like this after all.
