The Snow Camp Rally is Coming…

This Wednesday, the highways and byways of Britain will be terrorised as budget motors packed with sweaty snowboard types take to the roads for the annual Snow Camp Rally. Like the Gumball Rally (only with far fewer Ferraris) the Snow Camp Rally challenges groups of mates to career around the country at top-speed. The objective is to ride in all five of England’s snowdomes in a 12-hour-period, before hooning it back to Hemel Hempstead for a big old party. The whole thing is organised by Snow Camp, a UK charity dedicated to making snow sports less exclusive by opening them up to kids from disadvantaged areas. Each team has to raise a minimum of £1,000 between the four members, so it helps put up a fair bit of money for a good cause.

While all the teams taking part this year are doubtless made up of righteous dudes and dude-esses, this year Whitelines’ backing is going to the Team Jackrabbitt North crew (pictured in this excellent illustration by their team captain Dan Jesse). We’ve been checking the odds and we reckon these four guys have what it takes to win it. Actually, that’s a lie, they just emailed before anyone else asking for our support, but we’re sure they’ve got a good chance anyway! We’ll be following the boys’ progress with interest on Twitter (@jackrabbittUK). If you want to sponsor them in their efforts, check out their JustGiving page here, and if you want to find out more about Snow Camp check them out here.
