SNO!storm at SNO!zone Scotland went off

Huge turn out on Friday 7th of August. With people making the round trip in a day from as far field as Aberdeen (300 mile round trip) we knew that the night was going to be mental. The tunes got turned right up with Van Damn, Deerstalker and G31 throwing down a heavy mix of Dubstep, Bassline & Drum n Bass.

Garthdee Legend Andy Wilson made the main kicker his own along with SNO!zone Sponsored riders Mark Watson and Danny McCormick who couldn’t be dragged away from the huge booter the whole night. With a torrent of flash’s going off around the epic feature you knew that this was where the big boys were spending the night!

Once again one of the biggest pulls of the night was the SNO!zone Scotland Rookie Park which was packed until the bitter end. Stunt trains were running so solid that gaps on the rope tow only made themselves seen 30 minutes from the end of the night. Snowboard coach Paul Newton and ski coach Martin Crabtree spent the night making sure that those newcomers to freestyle left with a strong bag of tricks and a new group of friends to share them with.

Head of Park Billy Laing said “We all made it happen; I haven’t had so much fun in years! Scotland’s big and small names all turned out for a good session and loads of laps with their mates, how can you beat that!”

August’s SNO!storm blew us away with the highest turn out to date for this time of the year which only bodes well for a killer season and another EPIC SNO!storm in November at SNO!zone Scotland.
