Shaun White Video Game to be 3-D

Following on from his impressive Dew Tour win in Salt Lake City, here’s a bit more skate-related news from the world of Shaun White. Having released the trailer for his new S’haun White Skateboarding’ game, makers Ubisoft have announced that it will support a new 3-D format using the ‘steroscopic displays’ on newer TVs.

“Both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the title will use Sensio 3D technology, which Ubisoft last used in last year’s release of Avatar: The Game,” Shaun White Skateboarding’s executive producer Patrick Naud was guoted on geeky site Gamasutra. “The gaming experience is very sensitive to image quality, and we know from past collaboration with Sensio that the company’s Sensio 3D format delivers the highest-quality images.”

Whether we really want to see the ginger one bursting out of our screens is a different question entirely. Proper 3-D snowboard movies though – how cool would that be?!
