Rossendale gets proggresive

This July Ski Rossendale will be hosting an exciting range of events as part of ‘Adrenaline Live!’ – the launch event for the Pennine Lancashire Adrenaline Gateway. This long term projects aims to put Pennine Lancashire on the map as THE place for a whole host of adrenaline fuelled activities. From Dry Skiing/Snowboarding to Trails Biking, from Mountain Biking to Water Skiing. Already the project is delivering a great range of technical Mountain Bike Trails in Lee Quarry, Bacup and over time could lead to the complete redevelopment of venues like Ski Rossendale. The project will also develop a top class calendar of events to promote facilities and inspire participation. ‘Adrenaline Live!’ is the first of these. Held over the weekend of 12-13 July and all FREE to spectators.

The quarry is not just for bikes

On Saturday afternoon Ski Rossendalewill host an invitational skiing and boarding event, being an invatatonal you will be able to come and admire the skills from some of the countries top talent.

Any one has been to Rossendale slope recently will be well aware of the monster Quarter Pipe they have had built, well rumour has it there will be an epic wallride constructed to keep it company and not only that but the famous Rossi kicker is gonna be spiced up with rails on the landing!!

With equipment demos from Head, Salomon, Smith and WestBeach and a live music stage in the carpark there is a whole lot going on, although the most proggressive dryslope setup in the country should really be enough for you.
