Jamie Nicholls & Aimee Fuller riding well at the BEO

With the Burton European Open now in full swing, the Brits appear to be more than holding their own. As well as Dan Wakeham and Ben Kilner’s impressive finishes in Monday’s pipe pre-qualifying, young guns Jamie Nicholls and Aimee Fuller have also been riding well. Both have qualified for the Slopestyle semi-finals, with Jamie’s 14th place putting him above the likes of Roope Tonteri – last year’s World Rookie Challenge champion – and Kevin Backstrom.

Aimee’s slopestyle score was also impressive, with her 67.33 making her just a few points shy of the top qualifier and landing her in fourth place. Here’s hoping that the pair of them will continue to progress through the rest of the week’s competition.
