It feels like a long time since Gumby’s event was just a local BBQ. They haven’t changed it that much, they still do the local thing, but now they build the jumps a hell of a lot bigger.

To make some space, this year’s main event is being moved to the DCvalpark. So from 3-6th March, Val D’Isere will yet again be the home of the Big Day Out. Be prepared for 22-metre step ups, massive kickers, sweet rails and jibs, huge tricks, pro riders, rocking après and night time parties. Four days of guaranteed fun.

Sick snowboarding by day in one of the world’s best slopestyle courses needs to be followed by a damn good party. An impressive line up of bands and DJs have been booked throughout the week, and the ‘Purple People Eater Igloo’ will be home to all the exclusive Big Day Out parties.

On Thursday 6th March, The DC Acid Drop Session commences, with a 38-metre high crane set to tower above a 12-metre quarter pipe. This is going to be an Acid Drop Session not to miss. The best riders from the event will be challenged to jump from a knee trembling height. Bring it on!
