Right, so this dude Alex Broussard is a bit of a random yank, and his jibbing skills (while decent) ain’t a patch on our very own Jamie Nicholls, but if you’ve ever thought of going to Bear Mountain then check this out. Situated a couple of hours from LA, the place is a freestyler’s wet dream, with boxes, rails, barrels, kickers and whoops of every kind. Having done a magazine trip to Bear ourselves a few years back (in the good company of Dom Harington, Stu Edwards and Colum Mytton) we can honestly recommend every snowboarder visit the place at least once in their life. Properly American, yes – but in all the right ways.
