What's also rad is that the movie was shot exclusively on lo-fi compact cameras and mobile phone cams. It's been put together by Jari Salo, the Finnish artist best-known for designing Mr Makinen's legendary Option pro-models, so it's pretty high-grade stuff. More than anything, it proves that making a sweet snowboard film doesn't take massive budgets, expensive cameras or exotic locations. It just takes a few friends, a bit of creativity, and a desire to shred.

Oh and the film's name, Tasankojen Herrat, means 'Lord of the Flatlands' apparently. Which may be some kind of reference to the lack of mountains in Finland...
