Signal and Linkin Park build custom snowboard for Japan relief

http://mpora.com/videos/4xX6usfLC After yesterday’s news that Terje, Benedek & co are donating some of their swag to Glycogen, here’s another example of how snowboarding is doing its bit for the Japan tsunami relief effort.

Signal Snowboards’ Every Third Thursday series has been a massive success, building boards out of Lego and whatnot for our viewing pleasure. Now Dave Lee has teamed up with Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington to produce yet another ‘limited edition of one’ custom snowboard. Built with Chester’s involvement from start to finish, and featuring Linkin Park vinyl records on the topsheet, this is a must-have for any shredder with a penchant for Grammy-winning nu-metal.

It’s pretty fascinating watching the whole process, and it’s good to see that there’s a good use for Linkin Park records after all! We’re joking of course, hats off to Chester for donating to the cause. You can bid for the board at musicforrelief.org
