Burton High 5 Tour – Tamworth Highlights

More than fifty riders turned up to session the brand new rails, and make the most of the new competition format. Tamworth hosted the event, and the park shapers came up with a simple but effective layout that maximized the rideable lines letting shredders make the most out of the setup using their own creativity. For their one-off mystery obstacle, Tamworth customised their mega gaspipe, adding two side-rails to what’s already a beast of an obstacle. Burton’s brand new rails (and of course the Whitelines Wallride) seemed to go down a treat, with all sorts of tech jibs being thrown down – with Ollie Waters’ front board through the gnarly-looking Donkey Kink rail looking like a highlight. Burton’s very own jib prodigy George Wooley won the senior men’s category, and Lynsey Ashdown took the women’s. For the full results click
