Rusty Toothbrush: Slashes & French Pashes – Part 1

This may not be the best summer glacier park in the world, but god dammit this is the best summer edit we’ve seen.

What the actual fuck just happened to our screen? It can only mean one thing: we just got Rusty Tootbrushed.

The Rusty Toothbrush project – if you haven’t yet heard of it yet – is a loose crew based around the travels of Kiwi filmer, producer and rider Alex Stewart: one hell of a dude as you’ll see from the video.

Far away from the bro-down fest that is Mt Hood in the summer months, these boys have been having an absolute blast, getting rad but also having an insane amount of fun at the same time. Cue crazy tricks (one footed frontflips, 540s off rails, transfers between kickers) cut with  surreal yet hilarious skits (polar bear based drink ads, eighties work out sessions and grannies skateboarding in Paris) – a sick blend of loose stunts, creative tricks and hilarious comedy.

As well as Alex Stewart it also features Pasquale Gentile, Giacomo Errichello, Gian Marco Maiocco, Gian Marco Maiocco and Daniele Colturi – the strangest collection of glacier rats you’ll ever come across.

Not only is it a pure radical viewing experience, it shows exactly why France is one of the best places to ride in the world

Not only is it a pure radical viewing experience, it shows exactly why France is one of the best places to ride in the world: a weird melting pot of nationalities combined with a no-rules attitude on the hill. This may not be the best summer glacier park in the world, but god dammit this is the best summer edit we’ve seen.

Luckily, there’s going to be a second part which we’ll have up on WL as soon as it hits the internet, so hit play and watch, watch it again before waiting on tenterhooks for Slashes & French Pashes – Part 2 comes out – it’s what we’ll be doing.
