Snowboarding and skateboarding have a shared family history, but it's the kind of family with plenty of rifts, spats and disputes that leaves brothers often unable to face talking to each other.
Fusing together some pretty tekkers looking components, they create a mega stiff snowboard that can be fitted out fit either snowboard bindings or skate trucks
Luckily, Signal are back with another episode of Every Third Thursday, this time with the aim of creating a board that can work both on the snow and a skateboard mega ramp, bringing Danny Way's contribution to both disciplines back round full circle.
Enlisting the help of nearby start up crew Lithe Skateboards, they fuse together some pretty tekkers looking carbon fibre, vacuum packing and the usual goodies from Signal's Californian factory set up to create a mega stiff snowboard that can be fitted out fit either snowboard bindings or skate trucks (and presumably both, though we don't get to see this in action).
Whilst it doesn't exactly shred on either terrain, pro skateboarder Mitchie Brusco gives it his best on the Woodward mega ramp, whilst Signal pro Jake Aaronson takes it to the Copper Mtn park jumps, just pumping enough speed out of it to get rad in the air.
