What's that? Roope Tonteri, the reigning FIS slopestyle/big air leader and all-round bossman is actually capable of falling? And furthermore, doesn't appear to have bones laced with adamantium? Damn, take him back to the Finnish snowboarder factory, they didn't build this on quite right...

Joking aside, Roope has gone and broke his humerous after taking a not so humerous (boom-tish) tumble in New Zealand. While you may have expected the break to be the result of some gargantuan kicker trick gone horribly wrong, you may be surprised to see that it was infact a slightly misjudged trick on an otherwise mellow rail that was the culprit. Yep, you can be the best rider in the world, but those awkward falls that catch you off guard are more often than not the ones that end up biting you in the ass.

We're wishing Roope a speedy recovery in time for the winter season - he'll be lifting those logs again in no time...
