Danny McCormick – This is How You Ride Dryslope

A couple of weeks ago this dryslope edit took the European and American snowboard sites by storm – the lucky fuckers were apparently amazed that you can slide sideways even without any snow.

He’s moved past trying to nail every spin/grab combo on the mighty kicker and instead is now refining the art of dryboarding, squeezing every last drop out of the slope with creative lines and styled out spins.

The edit was good, but this one is pure class. British ripper Danny McCormick has spent the summer as he usually does, getting his SnowFlex on. From all his hours of riding at Bearsden he’s put together this rad little edit just for your eyes. How nice.

Being the seasoned rider that he is, he’s moved past trying to nail every spin/grab combo on the mighty kicker and instead is now refining the art of dryboarding, squeezing every last drop out of the slope with creative lines and styled out spins: that back 360 method equalled any of the tweaked jump tricks we’ve seen coming out of Mt Hood this summer.

The early grabbed tail method (tethod?) at 0.50 was a nice touch too, as was the frontflip fakie on the quarter at 1.38. And if you’re still not convinced that riding dryslope is rad, check out how easy it is to change up the set up and get sick near the end – that box fence combo is dope!

Once again Danny McCormick has done us and the UK scene proud – we’re looking forward to catching up with him (and that method) when the Alps come out of their summer hibernation and the shred is on once again!

But until then, dryslope will do nicely.
