So, the dust has settled, the Americans have (mostly) gone, and Tignes is returning to some sort of semblance of reality after last week's X-Games extravaganza. But while the games may be over, we at Whitelines still have some sick shots to share with you from the final day of action.
These were shot by Ed, standing on the very edge of the coping of the halfpipe for the men's final - a place usually reserved exclusively for ESPN cameramen (don't ask how he got there, it's a long story involving a French-speaking friend, a snowmobile and the mother of all blags)! This close-up angle meant that he bagged shots the likes of which you won't see anywhere else, like these of gold-medallist Iouri Podlatchikov's run. Here are a few more of our favourites.
