The ladies will be hitting the slopes on 5-6 April 2008, as Nikita Chikita Europe kicks off it's second annual event.

This open slopestyle competition will be taking place on Saturday 5th April at Serfaus Park in Austria. A special team of shapers are going to be set to work to create the best course possible for the womens and juniors contests, and the Nikita team will be on hand to offer tips.

Open to all female snowboarders, comps will be done in three heats of 15-20 riders. Each rider gets two runs with the best score taken into consideration. The best twelve riders will then go on to compete in the finals, where they will get four runs to prove themselves podium-worthy. The three judges will be looking for style, versatility, technique and creativity.

The prize money is a tidy 1000 Euros for 1st place, 750 for 2nd and 500 for 3rd, plus a coveted one-year contract as a fully fledged team member of the Nikita Team for the winner.
