If this is how Billy Morgan stomps to win second, you've got to wonder what Norway's Germund Bratten did to beat him this weekend...

It's been a fantastic couple of days for Billy at the Mile High by Carlton dry in Perisher Australia, taking two podium spots and becoming the first person to land a triple in Australia, way to leave your mark Bill!

The run that earned him second place in slope style consisted of a Backside Rodeo, Cab Double under flip and a Backside Triple 1440, not a bad show of strength from the Brit in a field full of fellow Olympic competitors; beating the likes of Torstein Horgmo, Aleksander Ostreng, Emil Ulsletten and Stale Sandbech.

Billy then went on to take first place in Big Air at the 4 Star World Snowboard Tour event, the first since the World Cup slopestyle was cancelled in Cardrona, NZ last week; and with an important season ahead, let's hope he's starting as he means to go on...
