The same guys that have released the all out urban attack Russian jib movies under the name WEARE2012 (KACCETA1, CAPI1ALS) with Soviet stars like Denis Leontyev on their team are now getting into the snowboard manufacturing industry with their new project: Build Your Board. Not that they're rookies at this: they're the same guys behind TERROR SNOW.

Complete with an awesome video and accompanying Kickstarter campaign, the idea is that if their funding application is successful you will be able to design and order custom snowboards from the comfort of your smartphone.

Not only would you be able to choose your personal favourite blend of camber/rocker profile, flex and size but you can choose literally any topsheet design you may fancy, apparently with no thought to copyright laws or modesty, as you will see from here-on-in.

What really piqued our interest was the range of eye-catching example graphics they provided in their press release to us: simply scroll through with the arrow keys on your keyboard to get a look.

This one's actually pretty sick: the classic 'urban snowboarders in a tunnel' shot grafted onto a top sheet. Simple, elegant, classy.

BYB2

And talking of classy, what could be classier than Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper staring up at you as you cruise the piste? It's almost as if the painting was designed specifically for a snowboard graphic.

Getting copyright permission for Edvard Munch's The Scream might be a little tricky: one of the four versions of this famous work sold for $119,922,600 back in 2012! We admire their spirit though, and who knows? This kind of stuff might be OK in Mother Russia.

One for the Tom Penny, acid casualties of snowboarding maybe. Just don't leave it propped up against a radiator.

BYB5

Another one that's simple and elegant, but probably illegal under international copyright.

BYB13

Sweet shot, though the enraged beaver photoshopped in does detract a little from the monster miller flip going down.

BYB6

Probably our favourite down to the sheer audacity of putting a covered vagina on a snowboard. Probably draws inspiration from last year's Bataleon Camel Toe.

From here on things get a little NSFW - you've been warned.

BYB7

If you had to sum up 2014 in one word, it would probably be selfie. An obvious tribute here.

BYB8

Doubling as an advert for venereal disease check-ups, this one ushers in a new era of public service announcement themed snowboard graphics.

BYB9

Bikini? Check. Shoes? Check. Motorbike helment? Check. Dignity...?

It should now be clear from Build Your Boards marketing campaign that you can print literally anything on one of their snowboards, and with Kickstarter offers starting from £135 for a custom board they're cheaper than the cheapest of our Best Cheap Snowboards of 2015!

Go check out the campaign on Kickstarter and consider spending a penny, this might be the deal of the year for a new ride!

It's best left in their immortal words: "Ride without standards!"
