Regular readers of the mag might remember we did a trip to Liberty University in Virginia, where they’ve built possibly the sickest Snowflex slope in the world. The only hitch is you have to fight your way through 3000 god botherers to get to it. A crew of the UK’s best plastic shredders including Jamie Nicholls and Andy Nudds were there for the opening ceremony, where they showed the Americans just how rad dryslope riding can be. A year on and the slope has just released this advert to spread the good word – riffing on the ‘hillbilly’s’ opening lines from That’s It That’s All (at least we think it’s a piss-take, maybe these Virginians just speak that way?) Judging by some of the “clean Christian fun” which follows, those yanks have been quick to up their game (e.g. backside rodeo on dry – think it took a bit longer for the first one in the UK?) so maybe the idea of a UK vs USA competition isn’t the one-sided non-event we thought it would be? Bring it on, bitches!
