Sam Turnbull has made quite a name for himself in recent years. The Yorkshire lad has been steadily rising up through the ranks and absolutely smashed it at the Brits this year, claiming the big air title with a massive double backside rodeo 1080. Like many of the UK’s aspiring freestyle riders, Sam spent some of this season out in the perfectly groomed parks of Breckenridge and Keystone in Colorado, USA, as well as in his main sponsor DC’s very own park in Meribel, France.
Sam is a true all rounder and kills it on rails, jumps and pipe and his season edit shows why he has a place on the British Freestyle Team and why he is one of the UK’s brightest hopes. Check out the huge jump line right off the bat with a cab 540, backside 720 and massive, stomped backside rodeo. Turns out that Sam also has a sense of humour and in between sending it off the biggest booter in the park, also manages to not take himself too seriously, poke a bit of fun and enjoy some good old fashioned minishred.
