What do you get when you combine a massive cheese wedge kicker at Sölden, a bunch of European pro snowboarders (including Mario Käppeli, Marko Grilc, Teo Konttinen and World Rookie Champ Sven Thorgren) and some fancy high-end HD cameras? The answer, obviously, is a whole load of ripping footage on said kicker. So much so that there was too much to include in this year’s Pirates full length Unique 8 resulting in this B-roll edit. If this is all B-roll stuff then the logical question is what on earth made the cut in the actual movie? Surely that beast of a backside rodeo nosegrab from Sven was worthy of inclusion? Either way, this is still really impressive riding on one of the most recognisable kickers in Austria.
