Ozzy Henning: One Day at Keystone

We haven’t really seen or heard that much of Ozzy Henning until now. Turns out that he’s from Park City, Utah and rides on the Rome Am team. Rome sent him out to Keystone, Colorado for a day and this ripping edit is the result. Yes, it’s clearly somewhat of a promo for Keystone but you can’t deny that the park there looks out of this world. There’s aren’t many things better than being the first through a freshly groomed park when the air’s crisp and the sun’s shining – unless of course there’s a foot of fresh, or you’re just a park rat born and bred. Check out the mad wavy corduroy at 00.41 – anyone ridden on that before?  Looks like it would be really grippy to spin off.

As for Mr. Henning, well, he’s not quite Stale Sandbech yet (the last rider to feature in Rome 1.1.1 edit) but he’s definitely got some serious skills in the park – big, steezy spins and the tech rail tricks to match. We were loving all of the flips and hand-drags over the knuckle and another highlight was the flag pinging out of shot at 2.44. And how’s that transfer at the end? You don’t see that particular line every day!
