Italian ‘Shadows’ Crew and Friends on the Deux Alpes Glacier

Shadows Above the Glacier sounds a little pretentious, and it is, but it’s also made by Italians, which is fantastic! Italians can pull off pretentious if they don’t take themselves too seriously, and this edit hits the right balance. It’s also a lot better when you realise that the name is taken from the full movie “Shadows” from Different Vision Productions, which is out in October. As with most of these summer glacier vids we’re probably just jealous that we’re not there…

This prequel features Nicolo’ Pezzato, Devid De Palma, Tato Chiala, Oivind Fykse, Jakub Szaradek, Gianmarco Maiocco and Luca Fiorini; alongside their Belgian/Deutch friends Kas Lemmens,  Jesse Augustinus and Veroniqi Hanssen who rode with Ollie Dutton at the Burton Jibfest in June. No surprises Ollie mentioned a few of them by name as ones to watch as the standards here are pretty high, that 540 out at 5.30 is dope.

The fact that it’s been shot on the Deux Alps glacier in France makes this a right European mix up, but there really is nothing like a sunhat to make everything look like 90’s Brit-pop:
