Halldor Helgason goes for triple jerk-off backflip in X-Games practice

The 2013 edition of the X-Games officially gets underway in Aspen today with both Slopestyle and Superpipe men’s elimination rounds kicking off proceedings and most of the athletes were out on course yesterday testing out the features and trying to dial in their runs.

Being the social media gurus that they are, the Helgasons have been quick to put out an edit from yesterday’s practice and here we get a few sneak peeks at the Slopestyle course as well as the massive, America’s Navy branded Big Air jump. Now while we somehow doubt that kids will be hanging up their ski and snowboard boots in a frenzied rush to sign up to the navy after tuning into the X-Games, what we are certain of is that the Big Air is going to be one hell of a show, especially with Halldor competing.

Don’t miss him trying the triple version of his infamous ‘jerk-off’ backflip at the end of this. We’re praying we’ll get to see it in the Big Air proper, which will, y’know, be broadcast to millions and whatnot.
