DC Shoes Finland x GoPro

GoPros have played a pretty huge part in the recent internet splurge of video parts, both am and pro, and you’d be hard pressed to visit a resort where every other guy and his buddy isn’t riding around with one strapped to his head or mounted on a pole pointing back at his out-of-breath mug as he does extreme turns down a blue run with an inch of powder on it.

At the same time, GoPros (and the various other equivalents) have also meant that much more quality footage is captured on film (or should that be card?). Take the POV runs from last year’s Supernatural for example. Now that’s pretty worthy footage right there, seeing as 99.9% of us will never get to ride anything even remotely like that.

This GoPro edit from the DC Shoes Finnish team is, in our eyes, a good example of how to do it right: interesting angles, steady follow-cam shots, a stylish tune, calculated use of slow motion – not to mention solid riding. The edit before this one (see below) even had ‘heli’ shots!

Do these do it for you or are they yet more POV cam monotony?
