Billabong Bro Down Highlights

It’s that time of year again. While we revel in the all around crappiness of our British summer (at least we’ve got the Olympics eh?), the winter season down in the Southern Hemisphere is in full swing with the start of the Aussie and Kiwi contest seasons. The Billabong Bro Down is a 4-star World Snowboard Tour event (yep, no more ‘TTR’!) that brings the familiar sight of professional meat-hucking back to the perfectly sculpted slopes of Snow Park NZ.

Local Wanaka rider Stef Zeestraten did enough to keep defending champion Roope Tonteri at bay and posted just ahead of Yuki Kadono of Japan to claim the win. Check this edit from the guys at NZsnowboard.com for all of the action. Sweet as bro!
