Surf The Earth Season 2 – Wyoming

After a rowdy full part released a few months ago, Curtis Woodman and his crew of powder pirates are back for season two of Surf The Earth, their adventures starting in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Riding powder at mach 12 is so much fun… just let it all hang out like Phoebe from Friends out for a jog

If you’re looking for the white room there’s no place better to start out than at the alter of pow worshipping and Curtis – along with fellow Arbor riders Erik Leon and Joe Bosler – gets stuck in immediately. At the deep end.

We’re big fans of the ‘loose’ style going on here – riding powder at mach 12 is so much fun, why should you bother always trying to hold on to that steeze? Just let it all hang out like Phoebe from Friends out jogging.

There’s arms and grins everywhere, but rather than being scrappy it shows backcountry riding at it’s best: a shot of pure joy right to the main artery.

But yes, there are bangers here too. Bosler’s huge front shifty indy to damn-near flat at the 1.19 mark is pretty tasty, just as Leon’s front three to bootiful backside slash at 1.50 is. But it’s the party boarding at 2.30 that get’s you itchy for those pow turns – the three friends careering down a face rammed full of fun little pop ‘n’ slash features just crying out for us to join them…

Banging stuff, here’s to episode two!
