Adidas Snowboarding are doing big things this season. As many of you will have already seen, the brand are weeks away from a massive boot and outerwear launch onto the snowboard market and have signed some of the world’s best (Jake Blauvelt, Eric Jackson, Keegan Valaika, Kazuhiro Kokubo, Forrest Bailey and Helen Schettini) to their team.
Jake Blauvelt has been with the team from their humble beginnings and played a pretty big role in helping the brand to develop its product from the ground up. Naturally, Adidas are also fully backing the release of Jake’s two year movie project, erm… ‘Naturally’ and if the shots in this 15 minute mini-documentary about the contest kid turned backcountry soul-surfer are anything to go by, that particular movie is gonna be nothing short of epic.
Jake started out as your everyday contest rider out on the ice-coast in Vermont but soon discovered that his real love was rooted deep in the backcountry. Since that realisation he has dedicated himself to hitting natural terrain and as the testimonials from the likes of Eddie Wall, Peter Line and more suggest, has led an incredibly influential career so far as a rider.
Adidas are presumably releasing these mini documentaries for each of the dudes on their team and we look forward to checking ‘em out.
