Rider Parts WLTV Videos

Simon Chamberlain’s full part from Jibberish Vol. 2

For the second year running, Canuck Simon Chamberlain has spent his season logging footage alongside JP Walker as part of their Jibberish project. The pair dropped one of the most creative teasers that we’d seen all season for their full parts and JP’s was released last week (he’s still very much got it if you were wondering).

While he hasn’t been around for quite as long as JP, Simon is no stranger to filming heavy parts and this year’s is his tenth to date – you may recognise some of the shots that crop up in the throwback intro this the part, with tricks from Stepchild’s classic ‘Child Support’, the original ‘DC MTN LAB’ movie and 2009’s ‘This Video Sucks’, amongst others.

Fast forward to 2013 and Simon’s part is another solid one with some big 270s onto rails, some tech switch-ups and some Whistler backcountry all featuring.

It’s always good to see jibbers holding it down for Western Canada along with the likes of Jed Anderson and Jake Kuzyk, as opposed to the streams of urban riders coming out of Eastern Canada (the entire Deja Vu crew springs to mind).

Still, when you’re from a country where the average temperature remains below freezing for almost seven months a year, you’d expect some half-decent shredders… eh?
