Here at Whitelines we get a lot of edits sent in to us. Some are slick park edits from pros, some are wobbly but fun powder selfies with a GoPro, others are, well, we won’t go into those…
It’s rare that we get something as unique as this that makes us just want to throw the laptop out the window and go shred – Abigail Berg created this private log park with her husband to avoid expensive lift tickets and the resort crowds, a genuine stash.
Not only that, but she rips! From attempting double backies (her single at 55 seconds is as about as laid out as you can get) to getting creative with branch jibs, both natural and man made – the transfer at 0.32 is straight up Gigi and Elias style! And the ender, so rad.
What you just watched, basically, is the essence of snowboarding. Going out and doing your very own thing just for the hell of it. Sure you can take influences from others – the Burton Stash parks around the world and the now sadly defunct Bonezone – but making it into your adventure is what it’s all about.
Huge thanks to Abigail for brightening up our day no end, keep on at it!
