Top 44 Snowboard Jackets (and Pants) of 2013/2014

Roxy certainly aren’t ones to shy away from bright, zany patterns. Their 2013/14 collection sticks by these well-established design strengths. The Wildlife Jacket (left) features this rad tribal leaf design paired with pipe boss Kjersti Buaas‘ signature riding pants. Hiding under it is a deceptively warm Thin Insulate lining. Torah Bright has a whole plethora of jackets in the Roxy range – but the Vivid jacket (left) certainly stands out from the rest, with a bomber-style cut and crazy butterfly pattern.

ABOUT ROXY SNOWBOARDING

Launched in 1990 as a sister brand for Quiksilver, Roxy established its own identity pretty quickly. Like Quik, it has its roots in surfing, but it’s successfully made the jump to become the biggest women’s-only brand in snowboarding. This of course is helped by the fact that it produces great boards (built by Mervin Manufacturing, which makes Lib and Gnu) but its main strength is still its outerwear. The styles are constantly at the forefront of women’s on-snow fashion, mixing hippy-chick chic with useful tech features. Combine this with the talented pro team, which includes Olympic gold medallist Torah Bright and the UK’s Aimee Fuller, and you some of the most desirable girls’ gear out there.
