Skullcandy Launch New Navigator headphones

This month, to the joy of action sport loving audiophiles everywhere, Skullcandy launched a brand new model in their headphone lineup. The Navigators are a smaller take on last year’s popular Aviators, and have been designed to be ‘the perfect balance between performance and style’, supposedly. We gotta admit, they do look pretty tidy.

The Navigators have been engineered to feel like teeny tiny cushions for your ears. They even use that memory foam stuff you get on those heavenly mattresses… With built in Mic3 technology, you don’t even have to take ’em off to make and receive calls and you can skip that ruddy interlude on an otherwise stellar album with the click of a button.

Like all new Skullcandy headphones, these feature the acclaimed ‘Supreme Sound’ stamp of approval. Attacking bass, diamond clear vocals and crisp high ends are all integral to the Navigators, thanks to the finely tuned 40 mm REX40™ driver, custom designed to ‘deliver extremely smooth sound with near-zero distortion’.

And all this, in an exterior that’s comparable in size to a pair of folded sunnies!

These bad boys retail for £84.29 on the Skullcandy site and Skullcandy have also developed a Navigator Facebook App where you can geek out over some rad exploded diagrams of the headphones.
