How annoying is it when you go riding with your phone/ipod only to find that the cold temperatures sap the power out of it in a matter of hours? Burton have teamed up with Nokia to try and address that very problem and have developed what are essentially mini down jackets for your phone:
The cases are constructed with a soft fur-lining and 3M’s high-tech Thinsulate™ to help protect your phone from the cold and snow. Tests by the white coats over at Nokia apparently show that these things increase your phones battery life by up to 50% in cold/sub zero temperatures.
Each case also has a leash so you don’t end up loosing it in that waist deep powder you’re shredding and it’s also roomy enough to fit a few other bits and pieces in like cash, credit card or keys. The case is set to launch in time for winter 2012/2013 and can be found in selected Burton Stockists.
