Check out Lobster Snowboard’s latest insane graphics!

Lobster Snowboards’ graphics, designed by Eiki and Halldor Helgason and drawn by the artist Michiel Wallrave, have sometimes been errr… controversial to say the least. But for each person they who doesn’t like ’em, the Icelandic jesters seem to gain a thousand more fans.

These special edition boards, which they’ve just released, will no doubt have the same effect. The brilliant minds that once asked for “a flying giraffe” and “a she-male with cut off arms and legs” have been at it again here.

The graphic on the special edition (or special addition as they put it) Jib Board was apparently dreamt up by Eiki, who “wanted to see a mermaid getting sliced up by an outboard motor.” Adding (slightly inexplicably) “Save the fish women, or at least make them into sushi.” Ahem.

Eiki wanted to see a mermaid getting sliced up by an outboard motor.

The special edition Park Board, designed by Halldor looks comparatively tame by comparison, but has a good story behind it. It comes from his favourite cocktail “RV juice” which is mixed like so:

1) Get a smelly R.V.
2) Follow this simple recipe: Mix a shot of tequila with shots of vodka, run, gin, cointreaux and whiskey, then fill it up with cola.
3) Drink it.

Sounds nice eh? Both boards will be on sale at lobstersnowboards.com and if you get lucky, you can even win yourself one. Simply:

1) Follow Lobster Snowboards on Facebook & Instagram (@lobstersnowboards)
2) Post The Photo of The Special Addition Boards on Your Facebook and Instagram
3)Hashtag #SpecialAddition

Oh and if you do, keep away from the kind of American resorts where crazy Christian fundamentals might ride. Unless of course you want to get tarred and feathered?
