To prove that splitboarding isn’t just for the slog-a-lot Captain Scotts or the beardy van-hippies that car danchi all winter long, The Rider Social have launched splitboard courses for riders of all levels in the Portes Du Soleil this season. Based in the town of Chatel, The Rider Social have been in the game of making snowboard holidays for seven years now, so it’s safe to say they know what they’re doing. In the past three years they hooked up with Never Summer, and now, just as NS have launched their first ever split-range, The Rider Social have started running courses to show you how to use them. Could you ask for anything more?
If you want to give it a go they’re running courses from 16th March 2013. This includes full instruction all through the week, guiding and the actual board itself if you aren’t already blessed with your own. Of course, it’s a proper holiday too, so you’d get all the accommodation, food and trimmings you’d expect.
