Imagine if you could buy and sell snowboard kit on eBay, but cut out all the clueless creeps trying to fob you off with crap gear from knock-off brands? If there was an eBay just for snowboarders – one where you could be sure that the people you were buying from and selling to were fellow shred-heads? Well (tadaaaa!) now there is. We’ve just launched a brand new Classified Ads section designed specifically for snowboarders to sell their second-hand (or new) gear to other snowboarders.
It’s free to list, and free to search, so using it is basically a no-brainer. Got a board that you don’t use often enough? Upgraded your bindings recently? Have a spare pair of gloves lying around the house? Get ‘em up there, and get some cash for them. As well as bargains on fellow users unwanted or used kit, this Classifieds section will also be packed with shops selling previous seasons’ boards, boots, jackets and all the rest at knock-down rates.
Getting started as a seller is easy. Head over to our new Classifieds section and log in to create your account. From there simply fill in your product details, add some quality images to make your listing stand out, lay down your delivery ground rules, select one of the comprehensive categories and fill in the easily searchable features, such as size or colour. Once it’s live look out for users getting in touch through the inbuilt messaging service, so you can clear up any unanswered questions. Other than that just simply sit back and watch your gear turn to gold.
Getting started as a buyer is even easier. You can search by brand, category, location, size, keyword or even colour (!) and you can find everything from boards and bindings to gloves and goggles, both new and used. So if you fancy grabbing yourself a recession-busting bargain (and maximising the amount you can spend on liftpasses and cheap wine) go and have a gander.
