Eric Jackson, Eero Ettala and Scotty Lago join the iON team

A couple of days ago we popped along to the Ski and Snowboard Show in London to catch the screening of iON’s new movie ‘The Snow Collective.’ Before the movie kicked off, iON’s CEO Giovanni Tomaselli stood up to give us a presentation – part of which was announcing the first team riders that will join the iON snowboard team. And what a team it is so far: we’re proud to exclusively announce that Eric Jackson, Eero Ettala and Scotty Lago will be rocking these cameras this season and using them to document their trips, lines and tricks. With iON being the main sponsors of our forthcoming November Knockout Tour and bringing a shed load of cameras to each stop as prizes, thanks to iON, we’re stoked to be in a position where we can give away products that some of snowboarding’s most respected riders believe in.

Giovanni had this to say about the recent signings: “We are proud and excited to announce that Eero, Eric and Scotty are joining the iON team. They are incredibly talented athletes who are extremely well recognised within their disciplines and will be achieving breath taking video footage with their iON cameras. Stay tuned to the iON Website and our social media channels to get a glimpse of some of the action.”

iON will also be the title sponsors at this years Dew Tour: the iON Mountain Championships this December. Needless to say, we’re sure we’ll be hearing a lot more from this exciting new company in the future and look forward to testing out their products at our rail jam stops. Don’t forget that along with £500 in cash money, we will also have a total of four iON cameras to give away at each stop on the tour.
