A Brit Weird: Enter This Rad Female Snowboarding Video Edit Competition

CALLING ALL FEMALE SHREDDERS: IT'S TIME TO GET FILMING AND EDITING

Calling all British female riders!

Are you near snow (or even a skate park)?

Do you have a camera?

If so, then it’s time to get a crew together and enter this rad new video edit contest hosted by LASS, Brits on Board and our friends over at Cooler Magazine.

They’re asking all female British snowboarders either in the UK or living abroad to enter their shred edits. You’re not just being awarded points for how many big tricks you can put down. The idea is to get creative, a little bit weird and generally get involved!

The best video will be featured on Mpora with prizes from GNU up for grabs!

P.S. It’s not just limited to snow! Skaters, we’re looking at you here…

So, how do I get started?

1) Find a crew

2) Get brainstorming. Originality is the key!

3) Find a camera

4) Find a good spot – in the snow or elsewhere!

5) Get filming

You can drop your teasers on Instagram/Twitter/all over the world-wide web by using the hashtag #BritWeird

When do I need to enter by?

You need to submit your edit (no longer than five mins) by Sunday 20th April 2014. More details on how to submit coming soon!

Any thing I need to remember?

Your shredit should be no longer than five minutes long.

Any British girl can enter – whether you’re in the UK or elsewhere in the world.

You don’t have to be on snow. Skateboarding is welcome too!

It’s not all about big air! Creativity, humour, originality (all those things we Brits are known for…) will gain you big points – as well as just generally getting involved.
