In the women’s boardercross Torah Bright was definitely one of the funnest riders to watch, not only because – as usual – she was all smiles and good times, but she made up for her lack in speed by simply looking the best on a board.

We can understand why boardercross riders tend to sacrifice style for control, when you’re that close to the edge its fine. However, Torah refused to let her signature steeze slip away from her in her heat, grabbing indy whenever she could and even holding her grab when someone clipped her tail mid-air. If boardercross was judged on style as well, she would have been gold.
