X Games 2013 Tignes – Men’s Superpipe winning runs

Last night’s men’s X Games Superpipe finals were exciting for a ton of reasons. With Shaun White and Ayumu Hirano both absent, the competition was anyones to win. Taku Hiraoka rode as an injury replacement and bossed it while Frenchman Arthur Longo boosted into second place much to the delight of the crowd. Louie Vito strung together a whole host of double corks to snatch the gold medal from Arthur on the very last run of the evening. Read our full run by run liveblog or full report for a detailed account of all the action.

In other news, Iouri Podladtchikov landed the first ever cab double cork 1440 which he’s coined the Yolo flip (bit of cheesefest of a name eh?). Unfortunately he stacked it straight after and failed to make the podium.

Check out the individual runs below:

1st: Louie Vito

2nd: Arthur Longo

3rd: Taku Hiraoka
