Whitelines teamed up with Ride to produce a super-limited edition snowboard. We got to pick the tech spec, and our art director Nick Butterfield designed the sickest graphic in the world. Check out the 09-10 Buyers’ Guide for the lowdown on the construction process and the concept behind the graphics.
As much as we love this one-of-a-kind board, we’ve decided we’re going to give it away to one lucky reader. This is your chance to own a slice of Whitelines history – and to own a completely unique snowboard!
As we’ve poured a lot of time and creative energy into designing this board, we’re going to ask you to get a little creative in order to win it. We want you to design a Whitelines T-Shirt, using this basic template. There are some Whitelines logos available for download here, which you can include in your design if you want, but you don’t have to. Make your own logo, design your own script, do whatever you like. You can get as wild as you want on this one. Print the template off and paint, scribble or doodle on it; download it and do some crazy computer graphics; plonk your cat’s paws in paint and persuade it to walk all over it… do whatever you want really. The only rule is it has to have the word Whitelines on it somewhere on your design. Oh, and you can do front and back if you want to… just use the same template for both.
Upload your finished T-shirt designs to our cyber mothership Mpora.com and tag them with the words “Whitelines T-Shirt”. We’ll upload them all to the Your Pics section of our site, where you can compare and comment on other entries. (If you’ve done your design by hand, scan it in or take a photo of it, and upload it in the same way).
The last date for uploaded photos will be January 31st and we’ll send the snowboard out to the winner shortly afterwards, so you can enjoy it for most of the season! Who knows, if the winning T-Shirt’s good enough, we may even use it as our subscriber’s tee for next year!
So what are you waiting for? Get your creative juices flowing and get designing!
