If it’s fun you’re after Airblaster is the brand for you. After ten years in the business, Airblaster is still focused on making original products designed for having fun on the mountain with your friends.
The name is a product of a brainstorming session in Travis Parkers basement where the founders needed a word to sum up “floating through powder, launching a method, and ripping a fart, all at once”. The name needed to make people laugh and sure enough Airblaster captures that vibe.
Airblaster was started by Jesse Gradkoski, Paul Miller and pro rider Travis Parker who were worried that snowboarding was getting too serious. For ten years now, Airbaster has been injecting fun into the sometimes stale world of snowboard brands. Their classic videos such as August and Bike Car feature more carves, methods and laid out flips than big spins or technical rail combos. By focusing on fun, friends and freedom Airblaster have made a name for themselves as representing any rider who really enjoys snowboarding, not just über-pros, street urchins or big mountain slayers.
Airblaster have made some truly memorable gear such as the leg bag and the infamous ninja suit; a legendary one-piece hooded long underwear suit, that has become an absolute necessity for snowboarders everywhere. Their outerwear will keep you dry, warm and “looking snazzy” and their Sasquatch line, in its second year of production, is made from up-cycled materials in very limited hand-numbered quantities. The rest of their product consists of goggles, street wear and apparel that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face whether you’re snowboarding or not.
